Unos dicen que el mundo sucumbirá en el fuego,
otros dicen que en hielo.
Por lo que yo he probado del deseo
estoy con los que apuestan por el fuego.

Pero si por dos veces el mundo pereciera
creo que conozco lo bastante el odio
para decir que, en cuanto a destrucción,
también el hielo es grande
y suficiente.

“¿Porqué está tan sola la Luna? Porque tubo un amante.

Se llamaba Kuekuatsu. Vivían en el mundo de los espíritus y cada noche recorrían el cielo los dos juntos. Pero otro espíritu tuvo celos, quería a la luna para él solo. Así que le dijo a Kuekuatsu que la Luna había pedido flores que solo encontraría en nuestro mundo, rosas silvestres. Pero lo que Kuekuatsu no sabía era que al abandonar el mundo de los espíritus no había retorno.

Y así, cada noche, mira hacia el cielo observando la Luna y aullando su nombre, porque no podrá volver a tocarla. ”
